On August 6th, 2019 Red Hat announced RHEL 7.7 the next regular update to their flag ship operating system. This the successor of RHEL 7.6.
The kernel level for 7.7 is kernel-3.10.0-1062.el7. Please note that the kernel-alt and the corresponding packages are no longer available. This release is mainly a bug fix release. It finally completes the integration of all the pervasive encryption features for System Z.
